I am putting away the cobwebs and black candlesticks and sprucing up my fall decor. I am not one who decorates for Christmas on November 1st but I definitely understand those who do, Christmas is magical. But I love a fall table for thanksgiving and the warm earthy tones of the season. Then the Saturday after Thanksgiving you bet we are going to get our Christmas tree and we are pulling all the decorations out of the barn!
My branches of oak leaves, dried hydrangeas and wood rounds will be here to stay for the next few weeks as we head toward Thanksgiving and we watch the leaves take their time turning into the most glorious colors and float to the ground. Have you ever just sat and watched a tree in the fall as leaves fall to the ground. I think it is one of the most magical things!
