Anyone else excited for Thanksgiving? I know some people already have their trees up but I prefer to wait. Do you have a favorite dish when it comes to Thanksgiving? Maybe it’s something you make or maybe it’s something a family member brings. I love it all, the turkey, the stuffing (maybe you call it dressing), the homemade gravy, the overnight mashed potatoes, and I bring the cranberry sauce! I got the honor of making it after my dear Aunt Rochelle passed, she brought it every year and made it with crushed pineapple and I carry on the tradition.
Like a lot of things, Thanksgiving has changed over the years from all the grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, to college friends and new boyfriends and girlfriends, to in-laws and more. Sometimes it feels a little quite around the table or maybe you talk about the same things year after year. Or maybe you see each other all the time and don’t have much to catch up on. So I thought I would include some table topics or dinner questions. We use these at our dinner parties and they are so much fun and it can be a great way to get people talking.

You can print these out and place them at each place setting, drop them in a bowl where people can grab them out, or tie them to a wine glass or mug handle. When you feel the conversation start to dull or head in a weird direction ask someone what their question is and everyone can go around and share their answer.
Farm Stand Update!
We are working hard on all things farm stand right now from items to sell to the building itself! Did you check out the building progress this weekend? It was cold, maybe a high of 50 if we were lucky and all day Sunday it was foggy. A memory for sure of building this stand together!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 4th – Opening Day. We will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
We will be announcing what baked goodies you can pre-order next week! So keep an eye on your inbox because you will get first dibs on pre-orders!
Happy Thanksgiving and we hope you create a space that you long to be in around a table with family and friends.
