Recipe: Pan Fried Potatoes

Pan Fried Potatoes

Pan fried potatoes – a guaranteed crowd pleaser! These make a great addition to breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Russet Potatoes Large
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Bacon Fat

Spice Mix

  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Start heating up a large pot of water and dice your potatoes in 1/2 inch cubes.
  • Boil your potatoes for 7 – 10 minutes then strain.
  • In a small bowl combine the paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Heat a large skillet up on medium to high heat.
  • In the skillet add butter, olive oil and bacon fat first. Then add your potatoes.
  • Sprinkle your combined seasonings on top – save a little for the other side.
  • Leave the potatoes alone for 8-10 minutes, don’t touch them!
  • Check if the are crispy, then flip, season and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Flip and stir one more time to make sure everything is crispy and delicious!

Use a fish spatula to flip your potatoes to ensure the crispy crust stays intact.
